Choose your design rights

Decide what happens to the completed digital design after it is finalized.

Standard Design — $25 total todayKustomizables creates the design for your order and retains the digital file. The completed design may be added to our design library or offered to other customers. No digital cut file is released to you. File Release — $35 total todayIncludes the $25 design fee + $10 file release. You receive the finalized production-ready cut file, but the design is not exclusive and Kustomizables may also offer it to other customers. Exclusive Design + File Release — $50 total todayIncludes the $25 design fee + $25 exclusivity/file release. You receive the finalized production-ready cut file and Kustomizables will not intentionally offer that completed custom design to other customers.

About exclusivity: Exclusivity applies to the completed custom design created by Kustomizables. It does not transfer ownership of common shapes, fonts, customer-supplied artwork, trademarks, logos, stock elements, or other generally available design elements.

Before we get started

The design fee is required to begin and is nonrefundable. It covers ONE initial custom design and up to TWO customer-requested revisions to that same design. A revision changes the existing concept. A new or substantially different concept is a new design and requires a new design fee.

You may upload several inspiration photos if they all support the same design. For example, asking us to use the shield shape from one photo and the border style from another for one shield is one design. Asking us to make the shield from one photo and a separate name sign from another is two designs and requires two orders.

The production estimate shown here is not a locked quote and is not included in today's payment. After your design, final dimensions, material, quantity and production details are approved, we will calculate the final production price and send a separate invoice. Production begins only after final proof approval and payment of the production invoice.

I understand the design fee is nonrefundable, covers ONE design concept and up to TWO revisions, and additional or substantially different designs require a separate paid design request. I confirm that all inspiration images and instructions submitted with this order relate to the same single design concept. I understand that material, cutting, engraving, adhesive, shipping and other production costs are NOT included in today's payment and will be invoiced separately after final specifications are approved. I confirm that I own, have permission to use, or am otherwise authorized to provide any names, logos, images, trademarks or protected artwork I ask Kustomizables to incorporate into my design.
